To receive the Medtronic SynchroMed^® pump, a programmable device that delivers anti-spastic medication continuously, you will need a 2-hour procedure and a short hospital stay. Soon after, you may see results that improve your symptoms.

Insurance Coverage

ITB Therapy^SM is a CE-marked, commercially available treatment. It's covered for the approved indications throughout Europe. Please check with your physician to learn more if the pump and medication are covered for you.

Surgery: What to Expect

On average, the surgery to implant ITB Therapy takes about 1 to 2 hours from start to finish. Your doctor can answer any questions you may have about the procedure.
