Is the X-StopPK® Device Right for You?

The X-StopPK® IPD® procedure is indicated for patients with mild to moderate lumbar spinal stenosis with neurogenic intermittent claudication. A diagnosis of lumbar spinal stenosis should be confirmed by your doctor with x-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computerized tomography (CT) scan.

The X-StopPK® IPD® procedure is indicated for patients with moderately impaired ability to function who experience relief from pain symptoms when bending forward. Patients receiving the
X-StopPK® IPD® procedure should have already been treated conservatively for at least 6 months previously. The X-StopPK® device may be inserted at either one or two levels in the lumbar spine, with treatment indicated at no more than two levels.

Understanding the Risks

As with any surgical procedure, there are potential risks. The procedure is designed to avoid these risks as much as possible, but there is a chance that complications may occur.
