Medtronic Foundation Europe
The Medtronic Foundation supports the capacity building of patient-led non-profit organizations through partnership and funding. These groups work to educate, support and advocate on behalf of patients and their families to improve the lives of people with chronic diseases. Our aim is to:
- Empower patients to become active partners in their health care, especially in the treatment of cardio-vascular diseases, pain, diabetes and movement disorders.
- Engage patients from cultural communities who have not had access to health information and health care.
- Provide support to patients through what can be difficult emotional times.
- Include partnerships and collaborations in the sponsorship of programmes.
